Here are the notes for tonight’s Squirrel Savers group, the couponing/stewardship/save-money-any-way-you-can group I’m hosting at New Life Church in Colorado Springs. I didn’t go over this line by line, but I do hope that everyone who is interested in this topic will do some research on what the Bible says about what we’re doing. Because everything we do should have a purpose, and that purpose should line up with what God is doing in us, through us and around us. If we’re just doing this to be cheap, what’s the point?
The worry-free path to prosperity
God’s blessings are a promise, but that promise is conditional: It is conditional on our faith, on our involvement and on our obedience. But do those things and you can truly cast your worries aside knowing that God’s hand is on everything you do.
What to do with a tax refund
It’s that time of year when lots of people are getting news of a tax refund. Yay! (And if you have to pay, my condolences. But look at it this way: at least you weren’t overpaying the government last year.) Whether it’s a small amount or a large amount, it’s likely unexpected and it needs to be used wisely.
